My first pottery retreat with Madame Voyage took place near Toulouse, France in September this year. It was luxurious, friendly, relaxed and inspiring. Spending time creating pottery in the French countryside with twelve wonderful guests was a dream come true.
We made pots in the ceramic studio, explored the pottery village of Giroussens and marvelled at the UNESCO world heritage listed city of Albi. We visited traditional and contemporary ceramic exhibitions, supported local artisans and ate and drank the finest French produce throughout the week.
All our needs were taken care of, leaving us free to think, discuss and nurture our creative endeavours. It was marvelous to be amongst like-mided artists in this beautiful environment.
